We made it - January 26, 2009

If anyone is still checking the blog to see if I updated it, sorry, I got lazy and busy settling into our new place. But here are the last few pictures of our arrival in Maryland. We made it from Florida to Maryland in a day and a half and arrived by 4 PM on Monday.

The Welcome to Maryland sign!
Our first glimpse of our new placeOur kitchen...we had a lot of work to do!
Taking a rest after all of the driving
This is what we woke up to our first day here. Notice what's going on outside the window behind Justin. And it's the only snow of the season so far and it hasn't snowed since. Figures it did it on our first day. Welcome back to the East Coast!!!
Sergeant actually really enjoyed the snow
Justin was tired after three weeks of driving. He has literally never fallen asleep on the couch since I've known him
We have an ENORMOUS closet. So my good friend Danielle (her wedding pictures are below) came over to help me organize my closet. She is an expert. Thanks Dan!

South of the Border

We didn't really make any notable stops on our way from Florida to Maryland. But I had to get a video of the infamous, South of the Border. Such a great place...check it out!

Danielle's wedding (1/24/09)

Sorry it took so long but here are pictures of the actual ceremony and party. The setting was beautiful and Danielle was her usual fun self and she looked amazing. Here are a few pictures and the rest are on a link at the bottom on kodak gallery.

My brother

If you haven't noticed, my brother has been helping edit the map on the right and has embedded some videos for me after I couldn't figure out how. So those lovely notes that are written about my brother...I'm sure you can figure out who wrote them.

I will upload the rest of the wedding as well as our arrival in Maryland as soon as I can!

Getting ready for the wedding (1/24/09)

We spent the whole day together hanging out, having fun and getting our hair and make up done for the wedding.

Here we are in the limo on the way to The Breakers
Me, Lindsay and Danielle in the bridal room
Here's a video of Danielle having fun before hair and make up starts. We were having a good time!! (Have I mentioned how awesome my brother is?)

Aaron had this outfit made for Danielle and gave it to her for the wedding day. The leaf with their names on it was their logo throughout the wedding.

Danielle's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner (1/23/09)

We all headed over to The Breakers for the rehearsal on Friday afternoon. Here is a picture of the view from the ceremony site and a picture of the happy bride and groom!
Here is a video of Danielle rehearsaing. She's such a character. My brother knows how to embed the videos on the blog but I couldn't figure out how, but he is so cool, so super cool, the coolest guy I know.

The wedding festivites begin! (1/22/09)

On Thursday we all met at the Marriott in Delray Beach (where everyone is staying) and Danielle drove ten of us to a nail salon in Boca to get our nails done. After that we drove back to Delray Beach and had a wonderful lunch by the beach.
