My brother

If you haven't noticed, my brother has been helping edit the map on the right and has embedded some videos for me after I couldn't figure out how. So those lovely notes that are written about my brother...I'm sure you can figure out who wrote them.

I will upload the rest of the wedding as well as our arrival in Maryland as soon as I can!

Getting ready for the wedding (1/24/09)

We spent the whole day together hanging out, having fun and getting our hair and make up done for the wedding.

Here we are in the limo on the way to The Breakers
Me, Lindsay and Danielle in the bridal room
Here's a video of Danielle having fun before hair and make up starts. We were having a good time!! (Have I mentioned how awesome my brother is?)

Aaron had this outfit made for Danielle and gave it to her for the wedding day. The leaf with their names on it was their logo throughout the wedding.

Danielle's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner (1/23/09)

We all headed over to The Breakers for the rehearsal on Friday afternoon. Here is a picture of the view from the ceremony site and a picture of the happy bride and groom!
Here is a video of Danielle rehearsaing. She's such a character. My brother knows how to embed the videos on the blog but I couldn't figure out how, but he is so cool, so super cool, the coolest guy I know.

The wedding festivites begin! (1/22/09)

On Thursday we all met at the Marriott in Delray Beach (where everyone is staying) and Danielle drove ten of us to a nail salon in Boca to get our nails done. After that we drove back to Delray Beach and had a wonderful lunch by the beach.

Justin's Haircut and our visit with Dana and Seth

After we left Orlando we arrived in Pompano Beach to stay with Justin's grandparents for a few days. Then it's off to the wedding festivities. We finally were able to relax with Justin's grandparents and for one night we went to visit our friends Seth and Dana in Ft. Lauderdale. Seth had told Justin about this great place to get a haircut and a shave, called ManKind, where you also get free alcohol at the bar in the barber shop. Justin had been talking about going there since he decided to grow out his hair. Here is a picture of Justin before his haircut:

I had to sit outside with Sergeant while Justin got his haircut and shave. Here is a shot of him through the window!
And here is Justin afer the haircut and shave (I think I might secretly like the before picture better)!

Disney World (1/19/09)

We went to Disney World on Martin Luther King Day. It was the first time I had been there since I was 12 years old. We went to Epcot and the Animal Kingdom and we were there from 10 AM to 10 PM. It was a lot of fun but I was exhausted!! We had a great dinner at the Nemo under the sea restaurant before going to see the daily fireworks show. Here are a bunch of pictures from our day.

We dropped Lee's dog Misha off at the Kennel at Epcot
Us with Lee, Renee and their friend Mike right when we got inside the park
There is a place where you can taste Coke products from all over the world. I don't remember them having this when I went 12 years ago.

Already leaving Epcot before we did anything! Off to Animal Kingdom

A quick ice cream break on our way to the next ride

Getting ready to go on the Everest roller coaster (not sure if that's what it was called but it was a big snowy mountain at Animal Kingdom)

Back at Epcot and now getting on every ride quickly because all of the kiddies have gone home!

Beers around the World Showcase. First stop, Canada...eh!

Our first day in Orlando (1/18/09)

We were lucky enough to stay with Justin's friend Lee and his fiance Renee at their brand new house in Orlando. Lee is a pilot and sometimes would pass through LA when he was working but we've never been able to spend this much quality time with him. We arrived around dinner on Saturday night and Sunday was our first full day with them. They live in this fabulous community and there is even a huge dog park down the street with a beach for the dogs. Here are some pictures of us walking to and playing in the dog park.

After we got back from the dog park, we decided to have a BBQ and watch football. I told Justin to make guacamole...the avocados in Florida are VERY different than the Haas avacados in California...

It's not really as big as Justin's head but they were the biggest avocados we've ever seen.
